New Travel Dynamics provides an 11-Day, 10-Night Egypt Cultural Tour, which will take you to Egypt's ancient historical sites.The tour starts in Cairo and continues through Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel, where you will visit famous sites that reveal hidden secrets of lesser-known locations and their ancient temples. The Nile cruise provides a pleasant travel experience, which allows you to explore Egypt's ancient sites and its traditional heritage. The day offers perfect opportunities for visitors to explore while participating in cultural activities, which create peaceful moments.

Itinerary

1
Day 1: Arrival at Cairo International

On arrival, the Cairo airport team warmly welcomes guests. They will assist customers in a smooth transfer. A professional guide will pick you up at the airport, who will be waving a sign for recognition.

You will be escorted to your private air-conditioned vehicle awaiting you outside the airport, so you will be taken to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Explore Giza, Saqqara, and Memphis

Begin your day as your professional guide picks you up from your hotel to experience the best of ancient Egypt.

The first stop will undoubtedly be the Giza Plateau, encrusted with the legendary Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Walk amidst these timeless structures and maybe take a few breathtaking images of Egypt’s highest attractions.

Following this, proceed to Saqqara, which serves as the cornerstone to the building of pyramid architecture in ancient Egypt; the Step Pyramid of Djoser, built as a grand burial complex, is remarkable in itself.

End your day with a visit to Memphis, the long-held capital of ancient Egypt. Take exclusive views of the ruins and Ramses II's colossal statue, hear tales of Alexander the Great being crowned there in the Temple of Ptah, just emphasizing the fresh importance of Memphis in history and culture.

From here, comfortably transfer to the station for the nighttime sleeper train to Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor’s Ancient Wonders and Nile Evening

Your guide will meet you at Luxor train station and escort you to your private vehicle to begin your day of sightseeing.

Start with a visit to the Temple of Karnak, one of Egypt’s most remarkable sites. The visitors can traverse the extensive courtyards, see the enormous Ramses II statues, and experience the Hypostyle Hall, which contains 134 vertical columns. The Temple of Amon contains beautiful decorations which display detailed lotus and papyrus designs.

You will continue your journey via the Avenue of the Sphinxes. The avenue was an ancient procession of sculpture guardians. This legendary temple is well known for its exquisitely designed architectural tableau exhibiting fancy draught work, large open spaces, and grand edifices.

After the tour, relax while the staff drives you to the Nile Cruise, where you will spend your night on the ship.

Day 4: Tour to Luxor Attractions

Your guide will meet you at the cruise and guide you to your private vehicle, which will take you to Luxor's West Bank.

Start your visit at the Valley of the Kings, which allows you to enter the Pharaohs' tombs to see their wall paintings and detailed hieroglyphs that show ancient stories from thousands of years ago. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut stands as an impressive structure that was built into the cliffs to honor one of ancient Egypt's most important female rulers.

Next, you will see the Colossi of Memnon, which features two enormous statues that depict King Amenhotep III, who stands as a silent protector facing the Nile. The route will lead you to explore various interesting temples and monuments, which are spread throughout the West Bank. Your cruise will provide you with transportation after your tour to your cruise for your overnight stay.

The Nile cruise will provide accommodation for the entire overnight period.

The optional activity for Day 4 includes a hot air balloon ride that lasts between 30 and 45 minutes and provides aerial views of the West Bank and the Valley of the Kings.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples Nile Cruise

Your tour guide will be waiting to welcome you on the cruise upon your arrival. From there, you will begin your journey with a visit to the remarkable Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After you finish your temple exploration, you will return to the cruise, which will then take you to Kom Ombo, where you will see the special double temple that the people built for the gods Sobek and Horus.The cruise will feature an exciting Galabya party for your evening entertainment.

Day 6: Explore Philae Temple, Lake Nasser, Felucca Ride

The tour guide will bring you to the Philae Temple, which honors the goddess Isis, using a contemporary private vehicle. The tour will proceed to the High Dam, which provides visitors with breathtaking views of extensive Lake Nasser. The afternoon will bring you to the Botanical Garden, which you will access through a traditional Felucca boat.

The day ends with a cruise night.

Day 7: Abu Simbel Temples Tour with Cairo Return

Start your day with a guided tour, and your private vehicle will drive you for three long hours until you reach the Great Temple of Abu Simbel, where you will be visiting at 8:10 AM. After that, the guidance concerning the historical background and admirable architectural design of the Abu Simbel temples will be displayed to the group. They leave at 10:10 AM for those places to be visited, and will reach Aswan at 1:30 PM. From there, they will be transferred to the Aswan Airport for a flight to Cairo.

Day 8: Discover the Wonders of Alexandria

Your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Alexandria by private car. The first stop here would be the well-famed library of Alexandria, one of the grandest cultural relics of ancient times. 

And moving forward, the guide will take you to the site where the legendary Pharos lighthouse once stood in Alexandria, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The great Citadel of Qaitbay stands in this spot now. A sightseeing spot of the Gardens of Montazah Palace will be next on the agenda. The palace was once the retreat of King Farouk, with its presidential palaces of Salamlek and Al-Haramlik, a beach, and gardens. Your continued journey takes you along excellent photographic moments in one of the most appealing mosques in Alexandria, and also in the memory of the Alexander the Great statue.

In order of visitations, your guide will take you to St. Mark's Church, the oldest church in Africa, and the sightseeing tour moves to the old harbor of the city, which is not a commercial port anymore. There, stop for panoramic views of the city and some unique photo opportunities before heading to the busy downtown of Alexandria. Departure before noon for Cairo, an approximately three-hour drive away on a high-end air-conditioned bus. Whereupon your hotel awaits your comfortable arrival. This finishes the day's visit to Cairo.

Day 9: A Day Exploring Cairo’s Grand Landmarks

Your day will start from your hotel, once your own tour guide will pick you up to give you a comfortable journey through the fantastic places in Cairo. Your first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, which houses tens of thousands of authentic artifacts, statues, and priceless works of Egyptian art. A visit to the Citadel of Salah El Din, located high above the Moqattam Hills, is next on your itinerary. The Citadel was built in 1183 A. D. It served as a military stronghold that defended Cairo from invaders and has since become a noteworthy cultural landmark in Islamic history. Following this, move on to the impressive Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque created by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq from Istanbul. A striking mosque commissioned by Mohammed Ali, who ruled Egypt for more than 45 years, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.

Day 10: Discover Cairo’s History and Nile Adventure

Your tour of Old Cairo to see some historic landmarks, including Abu Serga Church, The Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra synagogue, continues before being taken for a walking tour in the Khan El-Khalili historical market.

Return to Cairo after the tour for an overnight stay.

Evening Optional Experience:

You may wish to embark on an awesome two-hour dinner cruise aboard the Nile while you watch a traditional entertainment show performed by the folk.

Day 11: Final Day in Egypt

Today will be your last day in Egypt unless you desire to discover more of the hidden gems of ancient Egypt. The new Travel Dynamics rep. will be waiting for you at your hotel to transfer you to Cairo International Airport.
