Temple of Philae

Next, proceed to the Temple of Philea, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple complex was relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of the Nile after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Take a short, scenic boat ride to the island, where you'll be greeted by the majestic sight of the temple rising from the water.
